Gabe the Dog needs a home

Hi my name is Gabe, I was rescued by a local kill shelter in April where I spent almost 6 weeks in their medical department as I was extremely malnourished. At my initial neuter appointment, the vet detected a high grade heart murmur which required additional testing. It was later determined by specialists that while I do have a heart condition I would NOT be a good candidate for the heart surgery. That won't stop me as I love hard and have plenty of life to live. Sometimes I'm not the best with sharing my food, but hey, who is?! I currently live in a foster home with my fur foster brother and would love a home to call my own.
